The original creator of the Urinal Etiquette comic is unknown, but it has been widely shared since its earliest appearance on March 2, 2010, on the Brazilian humor site Capinaremos (Link to post). The theme of urinal etiquette has been explored in other popular content as well, such as a PSA-style animation by Kurt Nellis on YouTube on July 12, 2006, and an article by xkcd webcomic artist Randall Munroe titled "Urinal Protocol Vulnerability" posted on September 2, 2009.[1]
