Kids Scared of Rabbit, also known as Children Scared of Rabbit, is an exploitable object-labeling image macro template that features a young girl and a boy displaying gestures of fear towards a small black rabbit situated near a bucket. In the image, the boy's reaction is notably more pronounced compared to the girl's. Commonly, this meme is used to depict groups who are irrationally frightened by something relatively harmless.
The photograph originated in early 2015, captured by Camera Shy, a Utah-based company known for family portraits. The picture debuted online after being shared on Camera Shy's Facebook page on March 14th, 2015, with the caption 'And sometimes bunny sessions go like this…'. Shortly thereafter, on March 16th, an Imgur user under the username RockiesInOctober uploaded the image, captioning it 'My kids during our family pictures this past weekend.' That same day, this version of the photo was introduced to the Reddit community /r/photoshopbattles, where it became the subject of various creative edits.[1]
